![]() The Fractured mods were significant in choosing the number and possible outcome of the new implicit that would overwrite the Synthetized item's Implicit if any. > A Synthetized item is an item that was created by combining 3 other items with Fractured mods. ![]() Despite the graphic effect and Venarius' orb on the item, a Synthetized item is NOT an influenced item Nowadays, the only Synthetized item a player can find is from a Fractured Memory boss (Cortex/memories), and the implicit on the dropped item are completely casual. This was not really useful when going with items that always had implicit (like rings and amulet), but came very handy with most of armour, helmets, gloves and boots which had none. Fractured Items, while they have a special graphic about them, are NOT influenced items We have also seen how this could be abusable because of poor implementation. Nowadays, Harvest allows you to make the first modifier of your item a Fractured modifier. Back then items already dropped Fractured with 1 to 3 Fractured mods, random, and was considered a good improvement for crafting back then. A Fractured modifier cannot be changed: you can scour, alter, chaos or modify in any other way that item, but the Fractured Mod will remain. > A Fractured modifier will be in red instead of the ordinary blue. Since Synthesis didn't go core, some players who didn't play "the worst league before Harvest" may not know about them. Fracture and Synthetized are two mechanics introduced back in Synthesis league.
