What a discusting, lying and stealing company. They are not responding on emails, or emailing me that they will charge me and for what, they must think it's okay just taking peoples money when ever they want and rent out realy dirty cars. We returned the car October 10th, and now 5-6 weeks after they have now charged me $47 again. Just found out they have charged money from my account again. ![]() That was in there opinion of right refund of driving around a car smelled of pee for nearly a week. First they charged us around $70, probably for the EZ-pass and when I complained, and said: well what about the refund? They gave back a little bit under $70. They didn't!!! They also promissed in an email, that we would have a refund of all the trouple we had. ![]() Advantage promissed they would pay for the leaning stuff I bought. Ended up buying cleaning stuf my self and cleaned it myself for 2 days. We then tried to find a auto body wash, all were closed or didnt existed. ![]() Emailed company, suggested we could return car in Boston, but we were on a tight schedule, so not an option. We got a car, drove to main, found out next day, that the trunk smelled bad of pee. And did not go through that many, probably only used $15 at all. They said we needed at EZ Pass to all the road tolls, we would pass, because they didnt take cash. Picked up car at Advantage Car Rental at Ligan Airport. This time i did because of the warning I saw posted on this site! All i can say is believe it! If you see even a tiny scratch on the car make them note it and get a signed acknowledgement. I sometimes forget to check my rentals thoroughly. I talked to a "manager" and he said the same thing. I was told they would have to check the video of the car as i drove off. Guess what! When I returned the car I was informed that they found a scratch on the rear bumper and i was responsible! I TOLD THEM TO GET LOST! I TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT MY SIGNED COPY AND LOOK AT THE NOTE IN MY ACCOUNT. Further, i had her go to her computer and log the damage into my account memo. i made her come out of the booth, inspect the car, note the scratch and give me a signed copy. The attendant said to just note it and drive off. Before I left i checked the car over because i read a review that warned about being held responsible for previous damage. I rented a car for a night to pick up my 98 year old mother to take to Arizona from Logan airport. Budget supposedly values their customers but the deceitful practices/lies they use to squeeze money out of you is wrong in all aspects of running a great business. I will NEVER use Budget again and will inform my family/friends/business associates if they ever plan renting a car from here, to AVOID at all cost. We contacted our AMEX CC and told them about Budget's lies and deceitful charges. There mat have been few candy wrappers and dirt on the floor mat (normal wear/tear) but it's the normal dirt you get from getting in and out of a car. Unfortunately, we did not take pics of the interior. So Budget took away the dent charges and still charged $450 for cleaning fees!!! What car company charges $450 for cleaning interior of a car?! The vehicle was return clean. ![]() Glad we had pics also because they wanted to see that even though we told the employee. We received our final bill and Budget charged us an extra $750 for a dent and cleaning fees!!! 1st off we reported the dent prior to taking possession of the vehicle and told the employee in which he noted and agreed. DO NOT USE BUDGET car rental at Logan Airport.
